BAKING BREAD

It's no secret that yeast and I don't get along well.  Let me present the loaf of bread my friend Cheri said that no one could possibly mess up.

It was hard as a rock, didn't rise at all, and exploded out the side.  We refer to it as the pooping brick.  Other people say it looks like a turtle or chicken drumstick.  Whatever you call it, it's proof that baking bread is not my area of expertise.  Evidently someone could mess it up.  Me.

However, earlier this year I tried a new bread recipe and have made it successfully on multiple occasions.  Let me present the loaf we had for dinner tonight.

Halfway gone.  Proof it was edible.

There's only a quarter loaf left on the table now.  Proud of me?  You should be!

Kelly - It's linked in the post, but I just realized the green link color doesn't really stand out from the regular black text. Hmmmm .... I'll have to think about that. Meanwhile, here you go. :)
