I'm thankful for a fantastic 54 hours with the two littlest Ws that included several rounds of the alphabet game with Naomi while on the road to Seattle-ish, lunch with my brother, lots of chatting with Heidi, being treated to lunch at Blazin' Onion, hanging out at the beach with a handful of girlfriends, seeing Melanie looking gorgeous with her post-chemo short hair, having dessert with friends, beautiful weather, snuggling on the couch with Naomi while she watched cartoons and I read a book, Heidi's teens and husband keeping Naomi entertained with dolls, guitar lessons, and spray bottles, watching some Olympics, express lanes through Seattle, having no responsibilities, enjoying Heidi's cooking, a trip to Costco right before getting home, and Tyler's first experiences with sand, dogs, public toilets, Cheerios, french fries, restaurant high chairs, shopping cart seats, and taking several consecutive crawling "steps".
