SNIP

Naomi has been wanting short hair for a long time. Really short. For a really long time. As with the boys and their funky hair, I made her wait a while for her first major cut to make sure she understood what she was getting into. Tonight she asked for hair that was "short like Devon's" and that's what she got.

She started with this unruly mop that had been completely ignored for a couple of days, save for a few buns to keep it all temporarily contained.. 

Needless to say, it was a tangled mess, so the first step was to hack off huge chunks of long tangles. Then we kept cutting. And cutting. And cutting. Until we ended up with this.

She took a quick shower, jammied up, and came out looking like this. 

It's short like Devon's, we fixed the uneven patch in the back, and she's a very happy girl. 

I love seeing how the little Ws choose to express themselves through their hair!
