I only finished one book in November. How embarrassing. I actually started a second, but it was so painfully boring to read that I gave up. I'm reading a third book, but haven't finished it. I'm using the fact that November was a super stressful month for me as an excuse.
How Starbucks Saved My Life: A Son of Privilege Learns to Live Like Anyone Else, by Michael Gates Gill
This book seems a bit like a really long ad for recruiting Starbucks employees, but it's not unpleasant. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. The author had a high paying job at a big name company and knew a lot of famous people. Then he got fired. This book is about his new job at Starbucks and how he had to start rethinking his biases.

I'm interested to know what the super boring book that you couldn't finish was?
It was "Sandy Koufax", a biography I snagged at Dollar Tree a while back. The writing style bugged me and I just couldn't finish it. It's rare that I leave a book unfinished, but this one just wasn't worth my time.
I think Kami and I were both wondering if it was the third book you're reading...not everyone "stuck with it" but many did.
