MR. FIX IT

The previous owners of our home left a paper towel holder in the kitchen, screwed into the cabinetry. No big deal, except we don't use paper towels. I kept meaning to take it down, but would only notice it when I was already busy doing something else in the kitchen. One day I was cooking and asked Silas if he could take care of it for me. He got a screwdriver and happily set to work.

It's nice that he could do it for me, as this is not a position my body could get into these days. Or, if I could manage to get there, then I'd probably be stuck forever.

I'm sure thankful for kids who pull their weight (and mine, when I can't) around the house!

You'd only be stuck there 'til the baby came. May be a good position for birthing? tee hee I'm going to love it when G is old enough to be my little handyman!

Seems like Silas may have a career as a carpenter/repairman/put stuff together guy!
