I was totally blessed by an opportunity to spend the morning hiking the Trail of Ten Falls down at Silver Falls State Park with a group of ladies - myself, seven other girls (some I knew, some I'd never met), and one super cute 11 week old baby who snoozed through the whole hike. I must confess that I wasn't excited to get up at 6:00am on a Saturday, especially after waking to sirens in the neighborhood at 4:00am. However, by 1:00 I was so thankful I went. Perfect weather, good conversation, beautiful scenery, and eight miles in 2 1/2 hours. A fantastic morning!
I brought my camera to get a group shot, but totally forgot it was in my bag. Oops.
Anyway, the morning was an answer to a few recent prayers of mine and I'm so glad I got to go! Now I'm off to tackle the work I need to get done today. I'll be tackling it with a sleepy body and aching legs, but a thankful heart and refreshed mind.
