10/29/09 THANKFUL THURSDAY
I'm thankful for the cafeteria lady at Tim's school who sends him home with bags of nasty bananas because she knows he likes banana bread, muffins, and cookies.
This week I am really thankful for 2 things- first I am so thankful to be a stay at home mom. Second I am so thankful for water- seriously did anyone else see the report on the news about the area in Africa where it hasn't rained in over a year? I can't get the image of the dying babies and elephants etc out of my head. We are so blessed!

I'm thankful my church family.
I'm thankful for the humbling discovery that my husband is actually way more capable of doing some of the jobs that have always been 'mine'.
I'm also thankful that I learned to change a faucet this week - because it makes me feel cool (nothing cooler than a plumber!).
I'm thankful for my mother-in-law staying over to help and hang out with the kiddos. Mama needs some sleep!
