THE OREGON ZOO & INTERNATIONAL ROSE TEST GARDEN

We spent yesterday celebrating our nieces birthday, which meant a chunk of time at the Oregon Zoo and another chunk at the International Rose Test Garden. I didn't take many pictures, as I spent most of my time visiting with our extended family and their friends, but here are a few.

Tyler took a little time to sit down and watch the seals.

Naomi and I sat together during the snack break.

The big boys weren't there, but here's picture proof that the rest of our family was at the zoo together.

Just a quick selfie upon arrival at the rose garden. Tim and I went there on a date while visiting from Ashland during our kid-free days, but that was at least 18 years ago. It's such a beautiful place, which this picture doesn't capture at all. We should make a point to go more often!

Half of the W sibling crew was there, so I got a picture of Daniel, Monica, and Tim.

Next was a picture of the W ladies in attendance, plus one of the W daughters, plus a friend.

Finally, a lousy picture of four people who were hot, tired, and staring into the sun. But, again, it's proof we were all there together.
