A DIFFERENCE IN DOODLES

Sometimes I doodle on the top of the page while I'm taking notes during church. The doodles vary, but they're usually just a simple pattern.

Or maybe a repeating design.

If I get really fancy, then I'll have multiple patterns and designs in one doodle.

My sister, however, is far more artistic than me. A few weeks ago Beep sent me this at the end of our Skyble study, saying it's what she doodled during our conversation.

That's our piano playing mom and guitar strumming dad, as well as a nod to our faith (the open Bible) and coastal hometown (waves). I love that she created this fun, whimsical picture while concentrating on other tasks. As for me, I'll probably draw a line of triangles in alternating directions or something equally impressive the next time we chat.
