Teebs is, hands down, the biggest snuggler of all the little Ws. Second place isn't even a close contest. At all. He loves, loves, loves to have me lay down with him at naps. Although one of our priorities in parenting littles is to have them learn to fall asleep on their own, which he is able to do, I indulge him from time to time because I know those few minutes fill up his love tank in a way it didn't for the others.
There have been a couple recent times where I've called in one of the bigs to snap a couple pictures once Teebs is konked. They aren't great because the lighting is bad in a dark room and the angle they have to take the picture from is awkward, but the pictures make me smile anyway.
In this one, he had a death grip on my arm and was facing forward with his face buried in my hand until seconds before the camera clicked.
I reached for me in his sleep as I got out of the bed, so I stuck Teddy in his arms and he kept sleeping.
In this one he had his arm wrapped around me as tightly as he could, holding the hand I had under my head, but his grip loosened as I rubbed his back and he fell asleep.
"I want to be close!"
These days of him pulling me as close as he can as he drifts off to sleep won't be around much longer. Soakin' them up!
