Margaret is another one of my friends that I've known for many years, but never had the privilege of meeting. That changed today, though! She was in my general neck of the woods and rounded up others from our group who live within an hour and a half for a lunch date. It was so neat to meet the one and only Lady M! I've always respected the way that she calls a spade a spade, but also balances every bit of truth she speaks with just as much (or more) grace and love. She doesn't participate in drama, routinely encourages and challenges, and is someone I want to be like when I grow up.
Seven women and one daughter from our group of friends were able to show up for lunch. It was great to spend a few hours catching up on each other's lives and just shooting the breeze. We took a quick group picture before people had to start leaving.
Then I got a picture taken with Margaret.
Then we all went home. Such a fun way to spend an afternoon!
