I had the opportunity to attend a 24 hour Pampered Chef retreat that started on Friday evening. It was a great to spend time with gals I've spent the last six months getting to know, meet some new people, be encouraged and challenged in regards to my business, and spend a bunch of time chatting, eating, and laughing.
I'm so thankful for leaders who consistently pour into the businesses and personal lives of all the people on their teams. I'm also thankful for teammates who ask good questions, give helpful feedback, and are willing to be vulnerable with each other. It's a group of women who consistently speak life to each other, no matter what the topic of conversation is, and I'm so glad I get to be part of it! We all (minus one person who had to leave early) snapped a quick group shot before we all headed home at the end of our retreat.
Except some of us didn't head home. Here I am with Dani (a friend of 27 years who's on my team) and Faith (a friend of 11 years whose team I'm on) right before we squeezed in a late lunch together. I'm glad it worked out to get a little extra time to just chat about life before we all went our separate ways!
Only time will tell what the future holds in regards to my Pampered Chef business, but what I do know is that right now a need for #BracesOnFaces is being met and I'm having a blast in the process. My prayer continues to be what it's been all along - that my business would be a blessing for everyone impacted by it and that I'd know what professional boundaries to establish for myself for the season of life I'm in right now.
