OH, CHRISTMAS TREE

Several weeks ago a friend said we were one of the families they were reserving a tree for from their harvest. Grateful for their offer, we chose and cut one after church yesterday.

It got decorated with years and years of memories last night, but I forgot to take a picture until this morning.

They also offered as many mini trees as we wanted. We've never had more than one tree, but two of the little Ws wanted a tree of their own. Theirs aren't decorated yet, so I'll do a separate post about those trees later on.

In the interest of keeping things real, let me say that I spent the decorating time crying in bed (life goes on, the night ended well, I'm fine now) and all I can see when I look at the second picture is a face (window = eyes, tree = nose, gifts = smile). But I love the tree!
