Tim had a furlough day today and spent the vast majority of his time glued to the computer, working on a big paper he has to do for a class. .
I spent the day finishing up the living room paint job and it took way longer than I anticipated.
Our kids basically took care of themselves all day, then we all took off for a wedding in the evening.
Our house looks like a tornado went through it.
Tim will be officiating all day tomorrow. I'm sore from a day of painting and an evening holding a crabby, snot-nosed baby. And I'm tired. So I think tomorrow is going to involve movies for the kids (wish the library delivered!) and some massive house cleaning for me.
And lots of sucking snot out of Tyler's nose and cleaning up the mess when he gags on snot and spews everywhere. Good times.
I'll also take down all the painter's tape and put my living room back together. Looking forward to that!!

So have had that tornado through my house. How quickly it can strike! Hope today, although busy, is relaxing and Ty gets better!
Your house WITH a tornado looks better than mine without one! :)
I've had days like that. Right now, for instance. I've not had time to do basic house stuff because of not feeling well and working. The clutter is killing me.
BTW, I like the darker green in your eating area :)
It doesn't take much to get a messy house. It's crazy! Your house doesn't look that bad at all!
Love your new paint. You are so brave. Paint colors scare me for some reason. You have my exact kitchen cabinets and I was wondering if you plan on doing anything to them? My dh doesn't really want me to paint them so I was thinking of staining them darker. . . would you?
Kristal - He's doing much better this evening!
Pamela - But you can pull the "crippled" card. ;)
Kelly - I looooove the darker green. A lot.
Rachel - Thanks ..... but it was pretty gnarly. Seriously.
connib - I wouldn't go darker, but that's just personal preference. I've seen kitchens with dark cabinets and they looked great, though. Just make sure you have plenty of light, otherwise your kitchen will feel like a cave. As for me, my goal is green walls and white cabinets. :)
